4H 2023-2024

4H are looking at different film genres in Music & Drama. This morning they started watching The Haunted Mansion and had a surprise treat of popcorn from Miss Cassidy. 

In English, 4H have been learning all about why we wear Poppies on Remembrance Day every year. 

4H are not sure whether Mr Beckett is helping Lee and Liam with their Maths, or the other way round!!!!!

Congratulations Alexis for being our Achiever of the Week for always working so hard in all of your lessons. Well deserved!

Mrs Whitworth has been explaining to 4H how fireworks get their different colours by using different chemicals. They all had a go at making Sparklers ! 

4H are busy kneading their bread dough today in Food Technology ready for making their pizzas next week. 

4H had a fantastic morning visiting Gujarat Hindu Temple in Preston this morning. They learnt all about the Diwali Festival and what it involves and all sat in a circle to take part in a yoga and relaxation session. 

4H loved PE this morning doing circuit training and didn’t want to go back to class !

4H are looking at keeping safe in Science. Well done Patrick, you spotted all the dangers in this picture!

Skittles with a difference today for 4H. They used different sized bottles filled with water, lentils and polystyrene and used their bowling skills to find out which bottle would be the easiest or hardest to knock down.
