Red Cabbage

On Monday, 4H shredded a red cabbage into tiny pieces and left them in a bowl of water. Today , they used pipettes to drop different liquids into test tubes and added the red cabbage water to see which liquid was acid, neutral or an alkali. The vinegar was definitely an acid !

4H are learning about improvisation in Drama. They worked in pairs and one person started the conversation off and then they took turns to keep the conversation going. It was quite tricky but they all did it extremely well.

In Maths this afternoon, 4H have been asking each other about different hair colours and then finding different methods of recording their results. They all agreed that a Tally Chart was the easiest way to record their findings.
