Year 9 York Residential 2019

Year 9 went on their annual residential trip to York in September. Pupils looked forward to learning about the history of York from learning about Victorian lifestyles and classrooms at the York Castle Museum to the invasion of the Vikings at the Jorvik Centre. Independence and social skills were developed and for some pupils it was their first time on a train and their first time away from home. We also visited the York Chocolate Story which was definitely a firm favourite of the group. A great time was had by all and York was steeped in historical culture for pupils to experience.
