4H 2023-2024

What a great afternoon 4H has had. They all spent some of their Dojos on Pizza ! 

4H are learning about healthy food in DT and have been creating their own posters. 

Congratulations Lee for being our Achiever of the Week for your mature attitude to school and working hard in all of your lessons. Well done !

Today’s challenge- to work in pairs to create the tallest free standing tower ! 

4H had a great time in Drama this morning. Firstly they had to choose a costume then act in that character and then they worked in two teams to write and perform a short play using the items of clothing they had chosen. 

4H are looking at Blackpool Railways dating back to 1846. Lee has very kindly brought in his coin collection from that time. Thank you Lee !

There’s nothing like a good old fashioned game of ‘Tig’ to get 4H warmed up for their PE lesson !

4H are creating their own posters on how we can prevent food poisoning when preparing meals.

4H have been looking at flammable items. Their experiment today was to squeeze some hand gel onto their special science boards then set it alight. The verdict - hand gel is definitely flammable ! 

This afternoon in Food Technology, 4H independently made themselves toast and tea or hot chocolate, then sat around the table putting the world to rights ! 

Something tells 4H that Frank enjoys his Art lessons !!!
