Nathan, Mr Bradford, Lewis, Adam and Mirabelle get their lips ready for Hardraw Scar in the Yorkshire Dales in a couple of weeks time. Mr Bradford always complains that his lips hurt when he plays after a few weeks off school - it must be an age thing!

Blackpool Sixth Form College July 30th 2019

PCA Band opened proceedings for the "Headstart Resilience Revolution" at the Sixth Form Centre and performed to more than 200 delegates from Blackpool and all over the North West.  Didn't we do well to put together a Band in the second week of the summer holiday!

Blackpool Carnival July 20th 2019

The Band had a great time performing on the sea front near the South Pier as part of the Carnival festivities.  Hundreds of people watched us, including several ex-pupils, so we hope they enjoyed themselves - we certainly did!

Rosehaven Care Home July 18 2019

The Band were invited once again by the owners of the Rosehaven to perform for the residents and staff in their main hall.  Liam left school two years ago but asked if he could play as well so...... no problem! He remembered all our tunes and was note perfect all the way through. Well done!

The Owls Care Home July 13th 2019

The Band made a return visit to The Owls Rest Home to perform for the residents, staff and carers at their Summer Open Day.  Mrs Chalenor supported the Band with her superb trumpet playing and tucked into a hot dog with the rest of us when we had finished!

Official Opening of the Berry Building July 12th 2019

The Berry Building was officially opened in front of all the school's pupils and staff plus visitors including Miss Erin Green, our very own medal winning Olympian who cut the tape. Mr Berry thanked all who contributed to the construction of such a fantastic building.

Key Stages 3 and 4 Summer Production July 11th 2019

There were three performances of the fantastic summer production called "Beware Of The Ogre" and the Band performed at the beginning of each one. We played very well as usual and the production has to be the best ever at Park so well done to everyone involved!

Key Stages 1 and 2 Sports Day July 3rd 2019

It was a very hot afternoon for everybody concerned with Sports Day but we sat outside on the field for a couple of hours and performed for the dozens of Parents and Carers between races. Mrs Swift provided sun cream and cold drinks for everyone so thanks to her we all had a great afternoon!

Year 11 Leavers' Assembly June 28th 2019

A smaller than usual Band performed for the Parents, Carers and pupils at the Leavers' Assembly in the school hall.  We had to tuck into a corner of the hall where tables, mops and buckets are usually kept so it shows that PCA Band are capable of playing anywhere!

Marine Hall, Fleetwood June 9th 2019

The Band performed to the huge crowd at the entrance to the Marine Hall where a concert to raise funds for Trinity Hospice was about to take place. It was a lovely afternoon and we all enjoyed the sunshine.

Trinity Hospice June 4th 2019

The Band were invited yet again to perform for the patients and staff at Trinity Hospice in their new Memorial Room. We were well received by our audience and were served with drinks and lots of biscuits when we had finished playing. It's always a pleasure to play at the Hospice.
