3S 2023-2024

3S enjoyed some racing against each other this morning in Move it Groove it.Their enthusiasm was outstanding!

Fabulous skills used today making scones.They smelt delicious too.Well done 3S.

Using marshmallows and sticks 3S worked in groups.They were given the challenge to see if they could build a tower/building that could withstand an earthquake.They have been learning Geography that some buildings are designed to withstand an earthquake.There foundations are strong but flexible so…

Our theme for our scarecrow was Wizard of Oz.We asked Miss Thompson if she minded being the witch and she said she was happy to be it !!

Fantastic use of watercolours today in Art.

3S worked very hard completing their designs of food packaging and designs.

Well done 3S, you were able to fill in your sheets working in small groups.

3S had great fun in Science using Oreo biscuits to fill in their chart about the phases of the moon.

This weeks stem lesson was create your own paper cup, what doesn’t spill !
Aaron was a natural and created a cup quickly which held water for a good length of time.

Bradley and Jake was determined not to give up after their first un successful attempts, and finally created a much better design…

We were very impressed with the skill and concentration during Art this week.Pupils used watercolours to create their skittle art designs.Well done 3S.

For stem this week 3S created their own paper airplane and had a race to see whose would go the longest.

We enjoyed adding warm water to skittles to create a beautiful pattern on a plate.We then designed her own pattern.
