Designing a building to withstand an earthquake

Using marshmallows and sticks 3S worked in groups.They were given the challenge to see if they could build a tower/building that could withstand an earthquake.They have been learning Geography that some buildings are designed to withstand an earthquake.There foundations are strong but flexible so will move rather than collapse.
