Mindfulness
In PSHE we have been looking at ways to keep our bodies and mind healthy.We tried some meditation this afternoon.One student said he was at his “maximum calmness” after it.

STEM Day
3S have enjoyed a STEM day today.We had a visit from an engineer and found it very interesting finding out what his job entailed.We asked him lots of questions.Then we had a chance to design and build a dog bed for Daisy or Molly.
Our Ramadan Advent
In RE we have been learning all about Muslims and how they have a Ramadan Advent which promotes kindness, sharing and thinking of others.
We have decided to make our own to follow daily in class, coming up with our own ideas.
Achiever of the week
Congratulations Jake on pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and singing a rap in music with your friend in music.

And here is our new book area, it's been a real hit this week. Alot of pupils have enjoyed chilled out time "Gobbling up a good book"

Henri Matisse
3S studied Henri Matisse in Art today and came up with their own artwork in his style.
Absorbency Testing
Great Science work today testing the absorbency of different paper.we used kitchen roll,paper towels,toilet roll,tissue and serviettes.We will look at the results next week to check which paper was the most absorbent.
