Making breakfast
4M have made their own breakfast in cooking as a treat. It was a mixture of fun & responsibility as they recalled cooking instructions & skills from previous lessons.
Art
We are creating Japanese Notan designs as a printing plate. This will contribute to part of our Entry Level qualification in Art.

Mario music
Samuel treated us to a Mario masterclass in music! He taught a few other students from 4M how to make the Mario sound effects.
Art
Continuing with our print making project, today we have started to make our print templates & started to put prints on paper.
Scotch pancakes
4M chose to make scotch pancakes during cooking. Whilst staff were on hand to advise & over look, students took the reins & worked within small groups to achieve their goal.
Super Samuel
Samuel took part in Blackpool swimming gala at weekend, take a look at all these medals! We are super proud of your fantastic achievement Samuel.
Music
Students have been making their own music! They have been downloading their favourite short clips of a song/speech to Band Lab & adding in a combination of sounds of their choosing.
Maths
4M used the online app ‘Sum Dog’ to look at & work through different maths skills.
Homework will be uploaded each half term to the Sum Dog system for students to work through.
1960s & homework challenge
In Humanities we learnt that childhood activities have changed dramatically since 1960s. We compared different daily activities from then & now, & looked at different factors as to why it was so different.
Our homework challenge is to research a man named Harold Wilson & find out a few facts…
