The Boy at the Back of the Class
Today 3J finished our class novel ‘The Boy at the Back of the Class.’ We have loved reading this book together and cannot wait to see the live production at The Grand Theatre next week
Funky Food
We have started looking into our new Arts Award topic of funky food ! Over this term we will be decorating and designing different types of food
Computing challenge
3J have started looking into algorithms this term in computing. They undertook the challenge of giving and receiving instructions to each other to create a picture. Everyone did extremely well

3J have began looking into Earthquakes as part of their Geography topic ‘Natural Hazards’. They looked into what a Ritcher Scale was and why Earthquakes happen
Trip to St Mary’s
3J had the best time at St Mary’s completing a PE lesson which was led by the sixth form students.
Kings and Queens
3J have looked into the history of King Stephen! We have found out that he was not a popular King for being very weak. Everyone was given the task of deciding what they would do if they became King or Queen. They all came up with a lot of lovely ideas

Gideon visit
3J enjoyed their talk from the Gideons who came and delivered them a talk about their religion. Everyone was given their very own bible to take home !
Creating connective sentences
Today in English, 3J have looked into connectives. They have used connectives whilst instructing Mrs Johnson on how to make jelly.
