Star and SCARF
Well done to Jacob for being our star for super number songs and participation. Well done to John our SCARF wearer for being resilient.
Piet Mondrian
In Art, we learnt about Piet Mondrian. We then recreated his art using yellow, red and blue. We worked hard to stay within lines and ensure the correct paint brush was put in the correct paint pot!
Diva lamps
As part of learning about Diwali, we made our own salt dough Diva lamps. We will let them dry before painting them and putting a candle in them.
Jumping, crawling and balancing
In PE, we enjoyed using key skills crawling, jumping and balancing in tune to music!
A visit from Daisy
We enjoyed a visit from Daisy in class. We enjoyed being careful and gentle when stroking her. She helped us to feel very calm.
Bronze Age roundhouses
We learnt all about roundhouses in topic today. We enjoyed rolling our the clay before building our very own roundhouse. We can’t wait to show you when it’s finished!
Prepositions
This week in an English, we are learning all about prepositions. We have enjoyed playing the Fox in the box game to demonstrate our new knowledge!

Diwali
In RE, we started to look at Diwali and the festival of light. We enjoyed making our own paper craft Diwali lamps.
Mixing pigments like the stone ages!
We enjoyed looking at how paints were mixed in the stone ages. We explored different colour pigments and mixing them with water, before painting our cave art!
Bee bots
We enjoyed starting our new computing topic, exploring bee bots! We enjoyed tinkering with the functions and learnt how to switch them on and off.
