Long and Short
The children enjoyed using the tubes to show long and short. They used the vocabulary well and could describe the length of objects. During independent learning, some of the children made candles which were long and short to go onto a cake.
Look what we made!
Over this last week we have been busy making lots of different things which have all helped improve our fine motor skills - cutting, ripping, peeling, sticking and pinching. What do you think of our very own Elmer the elephants?
Elmer Coffee Morning
We had a great morning at the Elmer Coffee Morning
Making Elmer colourful again
This morning we brought Elmer back to life by spraying her with all different colours. It really worked our fingers and improved our fine motor skills by squeezing the triggers.

Experiencing the feel, smell and taste of Chinese food
Well done to all of the children in 1B who wanted to feel, smell and taste the Chinese food. We had chow mein noodles, prawn crackers and sweet chilli sauce and rice.
Hunting for materials
This afternoon we went on a walk around school to look for materials. Miss Brown was really impressed that everyone followed instructions, doing good listening and looking to ensure we all stayed safe. Well done everyone.
