Whittling skills
3H sharpened their whittling skills in arts award this afternoon in the forest school. All their hard work will go into making this year’s school entry into a local Christmas Tree design competition. Watch out for updates on this later this term!

Humanities
4H had a fantastic morning visiting Gujarat Hindu Temple in Preston this morning. They learnt all about the Diwali Festival and what it involves and all sat in a circle to take part in a yoga and relaxation session.
Part-part- whole
In maths we have been looking at the part-part-whole model. we used numicon and cubes to help us visualise the separating of the numbers.
5J functional maths
In our functional maths lesson this week we looked at budgeting and booking a holiday.
We used google sheets to easily list all the costs and needs of a holiday.

Monster trap
Class 4J have been designing monster traps, we researched different types of trap and planned our designs by selecting materials from a set list and budget. Well done 4J!
