Diwali
In RE, we started to look at Diwali and the festival of light. We enjoyed making our own paper craft Diwali lamps.
Mixing pigments like the stone ages!
We enjoyed looking at how paints were mixed in the stone ages. We explored different colour pigments and mixing them with water, before painting our cave art!
Bee bots
We enjoyed starting our new computing topic, exploring bee bots! We enjoyed tinkering with the functions and learnt how to switch them on and off.

As it’s Halloween week, we have looked at Tim Burton’s characters and had a go at drawing our own spooky characters.

This afternoon, in DT, we practised folding paper in different ways. When we had folded it in half and half again we had a card. We chose to draw a picture and write a message inside for someone at home.

4H are busy kneading their bread dough today in Food Technology ready for making their pizzas next week.

In STEM this week we started to build skeleton bridges.
We had to make sure they were 20cm long and off the ground/table.
We used paper straws, tape and cut the straws using scissors.
