4M 2023-2024

Today we started to create different ideas of how to make a dog bed for both therapy dogs Daisy and Molly with a food and water dispenser provided. 
 

All week Faith has prepared a comic relief PowerPoint explaining what it is and why it is important. She has worked really hard and even added in popular characters that we all knew. Well done Faith

For a great charity  year 11 prefect got pied from ks2. Well done year 11 prefects 

This morning to start comic relief in science we made a circuit to light up our red noses that we have designed. Well Done 4M all of us was able to light up a red nose for comic relief. 

Pupils learnt of the importance of bathing Tommy Shelby the Horsefield Tortoise. As well as keeping himm clean and healthy it also allows for visual health checks.

After break 4m went to the library to spend their book vouchers to take home. We then went outside and visited the world book day trailer where ks5 have decorated the trailer for a class world book day photograph opportunity. 

Today for world book day we started with having some quiet reading time with our reading for pleasure book. After we then started to make a sensory/visual resource bag for a primary class 2A class novel. 

Pupils have been caring for the. Myerscough rabbits this morning, cleaning out their hutches, changing their water and feeding them.

During the afternoon session the pupils prepared and fed the animals of the small animal unit.

They prepared fruit, vegetables and crickets to feed to hedgehogs, rabbits, rats, chickens, bearded dragon, frog, giant African land snails, guinea pigs, tortoise, leopard gecko and hermit crabs.

Today we  got to celebrate our most recent Ofsted inspection. We all had an OUTSTANDING day with a special assembly, visit to westbury fun house and ice-cream as reward for our fantastic achievement.
