Kitchen safety and making toast
Today in DT we learnt about kitchen safety and made some toast. We put the bread into the toaster, buttered it and even got to eat it afterwards. Well done everyone!
Lava Lamps
Today we made our very own Lava Lamps in STEM. We used oil, food colouring and fizzing tablets. Then… the bubbles appeared!
Measuring Height
Today in Maths we had a go at measuring our height in class! We had lots of fun.
Rainbow Skittle Experiment!
Today in STEM we took part in an experiment. We used skittles and hot water, when added together the food colouring separates and makes a rainbow!
Mr Doodle
Today in Art we learnt about the artist ‘Mr Doodle’. We had a go at doodling in our sketch books. Well done everyone for being creative!
Newspaper vocabulary
We have been looking at newspapers in English. These are the words that we have been using.
Forest School
Today we went to the Forest School and used our imagination to build things. We made a car using wooden palettes and four tyres!
Landscapes
In Humanities we are learning about Landscapes. We are learning new words like ‘drought’, ‘urban’ and ‘rural’.
Library visits
We really enjoy our English lessons and Mrs Swift also takes us to the library every week too!
