For our MIGI lesson, Mrs Rainey bought us Diablo’s to practice our hand eye coordination. Miss Gardiner even got involved!
Creating a flip book
3R began looking at their computing unit of Multimedia: Films, by looking at flip books and how they are created to make simple animations! Everyone listened well and created awesome pieces of work, well done.
Achiever of the week
Louie is our AOW, for always setting a fantastic example!
Evolution
We played the Evolution game whereby, each player had to find a partner and play rock, paper, scissors. Then, whoever won rock paper scissors they would go up to the next level which was a different animal. The last person standing would have to shout ‘ super human’!
Drama games
3R were introduced to a new fun drama game. They joined in and there were lots of support and laughs!
Fiction or Non fiction
In English the students identified the difference between fiction and non fiction. Once they recognised what each meant, they looked at a range of different books such as a dictionary, fairytales, information leaflets then put them into the correct column.
Superhero themed lettering
Today was 3R’s first Art lesson! They decorated their first page in their art book by drawing their name in bubble writing and adding other colourful symbols.
Enjoying the sun!
Everyone in 3R has had a fantastic day and were treated to an extra playtime! They played lovely together and it was fantastic to see everyone getting along!
Exploring music
Today was our first music lesson of the year! Pupils explored different beats and rhythms and discussed if they liked them or not. They then had the opportunity to play their glockenspiel alongside the tune. Well done everyone!
