3A 2023-2024

In Geography we explored our two forest areas to look for; trees, flowers, fungi and brambles. 
Look what we found!

3A have been learning how different plants grow in various climates. They have begun growing their own; cactus, wildflowers and sunflowers!

3A have been practicing doubling numbers and putting them into groups.

We loved using Miss Heards sewing machine to stitch together of soft dog bed.

We have researched different dog beds to help us design what we want our bed to look like.

Miss Heard started off our DT day explaining how she engineers her own clothes. We can’t wait to become engineers!

3A are looking forward to taking part in lots of fun Red Nose Day activities!

3A have been learning about healthy eating and today they were able to identify food groups. Next week they will be learning why we need a balanced diet.

In STEM today 3A took part in the egg challenge where we eggsperimented which resources would protect the egg from cracking. Daisy was the winner!!
 

3A have been sequencing their class story called Where the Forest meets the Sea. They used key vocabulary to retell the story. They are looking forward to writing their own adventure story.

3A have been spending their well earned dojo’s for following the PCA way.
