RE
In RE 2W have been learning about the importance of the menorah candle during Hanukkah. 2W have learnt about the religious artefacts. Everyone made their own Dreidel to play with and then had some chocolate coins which are given at Hanukkah.
Music
During our music lesson we have been using our listening skills to listen to a beat and then repeat by clapping and singing. We have been fantastic at concentrating and interpreting each rhythm and song.
The Hobbit
As part of our Arts Award we watched the M&M production of the Hobbit. We really enjoyed the story and the dragon who guarded all the treasure!
Counting Backwards
Today we have been practising counting backward from 10 to 0. We played the game the floor is lava to jump and find the numbers around the room in the correct order.
2Ws’ Stone Age Homes!
We made a paper model of homes from Stone Age Mesolithic times. Stone Age people made circular structures from wooden poles, covered them in animal skin, thatch or turf. They also covered the floor with moss, reeds or soft plants. Well done 2W!
