2M 2023-2024

Logan enjoyed sharing his Noah’s Ark book and toys with us. He has been drawing lots of pictures and naming all the animals in the story.

2M enjoyed their art lesson in the sunshine this afternoon they learnt about Jackson Pollock and his unique art splatter paintings, they then had a go at creating their own art work.

For our new topic in maths, we explored money and the value of different coins. We then spent our coins on sweets, matching the correct coins to its value.

We travelled to different places on the plane in the sensory area! We then packed our suitcases for items we might need to take.

We enjoyed playing with the parachute outside in PE today. We sung lots of songs with Mrs Smith!

Thursday 23rd May is National Outdoor Learning Day. To help us promote our Forest School and Outdoor Learning provision , this year we are holding our first School Scarecrow Exhibition as part of our days events. Each class will create their own freestanding scarecrow, from a theme of their own…

Logan enjoyed his adventure to the beach this weekend. He built his own sandcastle and collected some shells to share with his friends in class!

We enjoyed reading ‘Sharing a Shell’ today. We relaxed outside listening carefully and jointing in with the Makaton signs.

We made our own magic potion in maths today. We followed the recipe using full, half full and empty language to fill the cup. Week done everyone, our potion was a success.

We enjoyed exploring the forest school today, hunting for different bugs and leaves.

Within French, 2M are enjoying learning the Makaton signs for different animals. They then went on a hunt around school to find them and sign their names. 

We enjoyed time in the sun, measuring water and using key words ‘full’, Khalsa full’ and ‘empty’. We poured bigger jugs into smaller beakers, careful not to overfill them.
