2G 2023-2024

2G had a great morning watching the Beauty & The Beast Pantomime this morning. It was a real treat, enjoyed by everyone.

Today was Millie-May’s 10th birthday. We helped her celebrate, sang to her & enjoyed a treat of piece of cake or a biscuit. What a lovely start to the week.

Our scarf of the week this week is Darius for always being a kind and helpful friend.

Our star of the week this week is Shania for wonderful singing and participation during our Christmas production rehearsals.

Congratulations to one of our friends in 2G who was awarded man of the match last night at her new football team!  Well done, we are all so proud of you!

2G’s very own elves have been extra busy today, crafting and creating their candy cane Christmas trees. The children have described their product as “soft and unique”, “full of flavour”,”handmade with love” and “brilliant for hanging on the tree as a decoration”. Don’t believe us come and find out…

A very happy 10th birthday to Brentley from all your friends in 2G! You had so much fun celebrating with all your friends. Thank you for bringing in yummy cake for everyone, it was delicious.

This afternoon in RE we have been learning about Christingle and why it is important to Christians. We enjoyed lighting our candles and talking about what each part means.

In PE we are continuing to focus on circuits and improving our fitness. We’ve spoken about how exercise affects our bodies and why we need to get our hearts beating faster. Everyone has made such great progress and we are all having so much fun. Well done 2G!

Big congratulations to Isobel who completed a sponsored swim over the weekend with Blackpool Polar Bears. She swam 26 widths which is a total of 260m! Fantastic efforts Isobel! We are very proud of you in 2G!
