Gardening
We went to Watson road park to help with the gardening, we cleared the flower beds of weeds and liaised with the envco staff to ask what else needing doing. A few of us also waked around the park with the dogs and picked up litter when we saw it.
Volunteering @Watson Road Park
We have been volunteering this morning at Watson Road Park. We have tackled the overgrown weeds in the large raised beds so the park can look it's best for summer! Well done Key Stage 5!
Support for schools advisor from Job Center
Over the last few weeks Clare has been visiting on school on Thursdays delivering workshops. Supporting Year 11 pupils with skills and knowledge in preparation for adulthood. This week students highlighted their own skills to help them enhance their Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Rocket ship shape painting
Today in 1B we have made our own rocket ship painting. We are reading the story whatever next and we love counting down from 5 to 1 then saying blast off!
We enjoyed trying to recognise the shapes we were printing.
Robotics Afternoon
This week we were lucky enough to be visited by staff from UCLAN in Preston, who showed us some of their robots as well as teaching us about how they were made and how they work.
Our brand new Sports Hall
Today 3B had a sneak peak at our brand new Sports Hall ! The children absolutely loved having a run around the new space and cannot wait to spend lots of time in there in the future
Hickory Dickory Dock
In maths we are looking at time and clocks, today we sang Hickory Dickory Dock with all the different animals!
