HSBC Bank visit
2R had a great morning with Gillian from HSBC Bank. We learnt about budgeting for a party and keeping a record so we could afford lots of lovely things without running out of money. We also learnt that we don’t have to spend all of the money and it’s ok to save any left over.
Lemon dance Monday
Oracle students have begun to learn movements to the song ‘stargazing’ this afternoon. All students suggested different dance moves to fit with the tempo of the music.

What’s the time Mr Wolf?
In Maths we have been learning all about time. Today we played What’s the Time Mr Wolf? We were fantastic at using o’clock!
My nose
We used our noses to smell different objects today. We enjoyed sniffing, perfume, lemongrass, coffee, chocolate, burnt matches and oranges. Well done everyone, you picked some fantastic adjectives from our word mat!
Resilience, citizenship and relationship ls
Our year 10s have been working on their resilience, citizenship and relationships with Blackpool Football Club Community Trust. They have been doing group work, discussing each issue and producing work and art around what each one means to them. Well done 4H!

In maths today 3A have been making patterns using 3D shapes!
Bradley’s band achievement
As a class we are so proud of Bradley.
he only joined the band this September but has taken to it so well, as well as going on band trips and joining BASSO out of school.
I’m sure he won’t mind us bragging about his 96% score for his Bronze Music Award.
