Volunteering- Planting seeds
This week 4H have continued volunteering around school, this afternoon we got our tools and dug out the large planters outside the Jubilee building. We have planted lots of seeds which will hopefully grow into lovely, bright flowers.
We are trying different food
We have tried different food and Mr Woodward has been bringing in different types of fruit to try. We have tried apricots, cherries and dried fruit.

3A have been learning SMART rules to stay safe in the sunshine.

Making lunch
As part of preparation for adulthood students make their own lunch once a week at the oracle. Ellie & Emma made tomato pasta bake for their lunch with cupcakes for dessert.
Plasticine modelling
We have been having fun with using plasticine to make different models. We loved making different types of creepy crawlers.
Football superstar
This was won at football training last night for trying hard. Well done, especially in the hot weather.
Bark Off
Mr Hull got on his bike today to help complete the miles for this year’s Bark-Off sponsored ride in school. Raising valuable funds for therapy dogs in schools please remember to return the form your child brought home last week and any donations you are able to give would be extremely welcome.…
Hurricanes
We have been looking at hurricanes in Geography and Phils made their own today.They learnt why a hurricane happens.
Parachutes
Last week 3S made their own parachutes.They could choose their own material to make it from.Some chose tissue,foil or kitchen roll .To see which material worked the best they dropped their parachute with a toy attached and we timed it to find out which was the slowest / fastest to land.
Tech: Set Design
We got to help Mr. Miller with making the sets for the summer production.
We helped with cutting and painting.
