Phonics ‘e’
This week we are focussing on the sound ‘e’. The children have identified the sound, identified objects that start with the sound ‘e’ and we have started to have a go at forming the letter ‘e’, using the phrase ‘lift off the top and scoop out the egg.’

Bird watching in 3C
3C really took their challenge of bird watching seriously!
A grand total of 91 range of birds were spotted.
We noticed that crows enjoyed being together , whilst the sparrows were loud and loved being playful in a small group.
4M identifying smells
4M really enjoyed their science lesson identifying smells.
They worked out most smells ranging from vinegar, coffee, chocolate to car air fresheners.
well done on challenging yourselves, as some of you was very sensitive to certain smells.
Our Seasider Competition Entries
Yesterday afternoon, we started to create our entries for the Seasiders competition. It was fabulous to see how differently the children used the available tools to create their masterpieces. Keep your eyes peeled for our finished pieces. ⭐️
3J and 4J
This afternoon 3J went to see 4 J who showed them the skills they have been learning in their btec lessons.
Angkor Wat
In History we are looking into places with different historical importance around the world. Today’s location was Angkor Wat!
Health watch talk
Today Alice from health watch came into 6th form to talk to the students about transport, social groups and healthcare and how people with disabilities use the services and what is good or bad about the service.
English
In English 5GT are learning about speaking and listening , giving instructions and following instructions. The students took it in turn to give instructions to the whole class they used paper cups which had to be stacked in different combinations for the tasks to be completed.
