Decorating our pumpkins in DT

In DT today we were decorating our pumpkins for halloween!

we were using orange and black paint to mark make on our pumpkins! Using different tools to create marks such as brushes, sponges and our fingers!

Our pumpkins looks Spooktacular! And we all had a fun time!

It’s a Pumpkin!

This morning we have loved exploring pumpkins, focusing on the vocabulary “pumpkin, orange, seeds”. We enjoyed using our senses to look, smell, touch and scoop out the seeds from the pumpkin.

Halloween Karaoke Competition & Fancy Dress

At Monday's Halloween Youth Club the pupils had a karaoke competition and were awarded prizes for the best fancy dress.

In PSHE, we have started to look at how we are similar and different to each other. We looked in the mirror in class to spot that we all have eyes, ears, a mouth, nose, chin and cheeks. We then looked at how we might have different colour eyes and hair.
