Today in Art we used stencils to design our very own T-shirts. We worked really hard and they turned out amazing!
Using a knife safely
3A learned how to use a knife safely today whilst chopping soft pears ready to go into our crumble.
Representing numbers to 20
In maths this week 2R have been working hard to find different ways to represent the number 20. Well done everyone! We have also spotted mistakes and corrected them…WOW!
Library
Casey has really enjoyed visiting the library today. He found a booked he liked and sat and read it for half an hour.
Visiting the Library
Today Mrs Irvings college group have visited Palatine Library. They have filled in forms so they can join the library and borrow a variety of books ,games ,jigsaws and audible books. We had a tour of the library first and then explored by ourseleves.
Art
In our art lesson we continued with our work with “The green man”
We started to make our mask for our green man. We have used cardboard and tore tissue paper to make the mask look like leaves and grass for our green man faces.

Schools Alive Concert Winter Gardens February 5th 2024
This picture shows the Band sitting quietly and waiting for the curtain to go up before we started the whole event. There was a huge audience to perform to and we received rapturous applause after we played each of our tunes. Well done, the Band!
Making Felt!
In 2A’s DT lesson this week we have been making felt from cotton fibres! We can’t wait for you see see the final product!
Our sensory garden
Today we created our own sensory garden using different colour green paper, green tissue paper and green string. The children decorated the tuff tray using the different type of green resources before they had the chance to add different colour flowers to the garden.

Lily, Alfie and James sang with the choir during the School’s Alive show at the Winter Gardens. They sounded great, well done!
Panathlon Challenge
Congratulations to Will, who competed so well in today’s multi sports event at Stanley Park. He came back into school this afternoon absolutely beaming - keep up the effort, we’re all very impressed!
