Keeping Safe

Exploring with torches

Fire Engine visit !
Some of 3Js students had a look inside and around one of Blackpool’s fire engines. They got to look at the different ladders, try out the hose and look at the important equipment firemen have to wear when tackling a fire.
Fire Service Visit
2W had an exciting visit this morning from Fire Service! They showed us how to use the sirens and the lights and even showed a thermal imaging camera . We learnt about 5eir specialist uniform that they wear to protect them. 2W mostly enjoyed using the fire hose to knock down cones!
