Out in the community
We went for a walk in our Oracle local community today. We headed to our local park to help with clearing & cleaning the community hut.
Outdoor learning day
Today 2R enjoyed an afternoon in forest school making natural weaves on a loom. The children included grasses, straw, twigs, leaves and wild flowers in their weaving. They did an amazing job. Well done

As a part of our outdoor learning day, every class has been tasked with creating a scarecrow ! As we have builders next to our room, we decided to create a scarecrow builder
Building a scarecrow
In 1p today we have taken part in making our own scarecrow, some of the children took part in filling the scarecrow with straw and hay others were making paper mache heads for the scarecrow.

Water Fun
This afternoon, 1B popped on their waterproofs and went outside to engage in some water play. We blew bubbles, mixed, poured and tipped water. It was great to hear the children using vocabulary such as ‘full,’ ‘empty’ and ‘all gone’. Well done everyone.

Learning outside the classroom
4H went on a walk around Stanley Park looking for patterns and enjoying the outdoor space. Liam and Frank wanted to help look after the environment and went litter picking whilst on our walk.

3R have been working hard for ‘Outdoor Learning Day’. This morning they have enjoyed working as a team to create their class Scarecrow, inspired by Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory!
