Senses hunt
We had a walk around school using our senses. We could see the trees, listen to the builders, smell the flowers and feel the grass!
What’s the day?
In Maths, we have started to look at time and learn the days of the week. We had glitter filled balloons to match to the coloured day of the week symbol and paired it with the sound on the glockenspiel!
Author Visit
3R enjoyed a visit from local Author, Nathan Parker. Nathan inspired the pupils sharing his love for reading, writing books and poetry. We ended the session by writing a poem as a class all about PCA.
D - day
Today in 1p we had a special D - Day lesson.

Let’s make a sound…
Yesterday during our English lesson, we experimented with a wide range of resources to see what sounds we could make. Our story that we are focussing on this half term is, ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. What sounds can you make or hear at home?
D-Day 80th Anniversary!
D-Day 80: We Will Remember Them!
On 6 June, marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the nation will come together to pay tribute to all who served in the Normandy Campaign.
Racing
3S enjoyed some racing against each other this morning in Move it Groove it.Their enthusiasm was outstanding!

3K have done some English comprehension work on Pokémon they then designed their own Pokémon cards.
Hama beads
We have loved working on our fine motor skills, using a pincer motion to put Hama beads on the boards. Some of us even made our own pictures like Noah’s Ark and Flop from Bing!
AQA Creative
5I have been working hard and gained their AQA creative certificates. Well done 5I.
