In art we used our pencil skills to draw different types of marks and coloured in a shape. Great listening and following instructions 2E.
Reading in our own way
Today we sat down in a circle and all read a story in our own way.
We all listened while an adult read a story to us, then it was our turn to pick a story of interest out of a box of stories.
We all looked and read our stories in our very own way.
Visit to the school library
Today 3J visited the school library to pick up a reading for pleasure book.
Our paper STEM experiment
3B loved their first STEM experiment of the year! They were challenged to see how strong one piece of paper was by balancing books on top of it. Everyone used their imagination and created lots of strong structures, some even holding 20 books
Learning about colours
In Art today,1B have been learning about the colour Red. Mrs Johnson brought some red objects into class and we loved looking at them during circle time
Painting in the Berry Burrow
We enjoyed picking up a paintbrush and water to paint and clean the walls in the Berry Burrow! We liked watching how the wood changed colour and dried.
Mark making
In English, we all practised our mark making and over copying our names! We enjoyed using a range of pens.
Pop pop pop
We loved using the interactive whiteboard to create art and pop bubbles at the correct time! We worked together as a class to take turns as well.
We were dancing and singing for music!
Today the pupils had their first music lesson of the year. Miss Cassidy made sure it was a lively one. The children sang and danced together and were even joined by a special friend!
Oracle College Cooking
Students made a delicious vegetable macaroni cheese and flatbread with Lottie from Blackpool Catering Services. Great first session back at college.
Maths in 1H!
Today in 1H we have used the interactive whiteboard to count bugs!
