PE at St Marys
This morning 3J went to St Mary’s for a special PE session. They had lots of fun learning how to play kin ball.
Incy wincy spider
Today 1B have been singing incy wincy spider. We recreated the rain coming down and washing the spider out using blue rice as rain.
African Drumming Day!
On Monday 2C had the exciting opportunity to experience an African drumming workshop, led by two very talented musicians. Then once they had learnt their dance routine and drumming piece, the class performed together in assembly in front of a huge audience.
Banana Bread taste test
Class 5M cooked 2 types of banana Bread today, a traditional banana bread and a sugar free banana bread. We conducted a taste test between our 2 banana breads and schools banana malt loaf
Arts Award with Mrs Mills
We looked at the French DJ David Guetta and his music in Arts Award. We were using DJ decks to see how easy or hard it would be to make music. We enjoyed using decks but found it harder to produce music when using them.

Dawali
In RE today 2E have been learning about Dawali, the festival of light! We did lots of activities to celebrate Dawali including making our own Rangoli art out of pasta, colouring pictures such as fireworks and making our own candles out of paper plates.

Attention Autism!

Your turn - splat the ghost
Following our Attention Autism session, the children had a go at splatting their own ghosts with red paint. It was such a fun activity and the children kept on coming back for more.
