Splat the ghost
We recapped the ‘s’ sound in phonics incorporating it into our Attention Autism session where Miss Brown ‘SPLAT’ the ghost. Look at the attention of all of the learners. Fantastic everyone.
Using counting frames
This week in maths we have been working hard on our addition skills. Using counting frames has helped us with our sums !
Plasticine
We worked on our fine motor skills to mole, bend and twist plasticine to create our own designs. We think they look fantastic.
Pumpkin fun!
We have loved exploring our class pumpkin today! Aiden enjoyed counting the seeds!
Marbling continues
We’re adding stencilled mandala patterns to our shaving foam art pictures to practice for our final outcome design.
Maths Games
In todays maths lesson we worked together playing math number bond games to shout out pairs that add together to find our answer. We used our knowledge of part part whole to work together. Great Work.
Music
In Music this term 4W have been using the platform incredibly to create their own song. Today the students listened to each other’s creations and gave them a rating. We had some incredible songs with some really creative concepts by the students.
Myerscough College
Students have learnt about looking after snakes and how they shed their skin. Alec lives at Myerscough and is a corn snake. Students handled and prepared a bath for Alec as this is part of helping him to stay healthy after a shed of skin. Students followed instructions and worked as a team to make…
Drawing and craft club
Lots of amazing Halloween drawing and crafts being created this afternoon at club. Children’s drawing skills are really developing with all this practice.
