Water safety
Brenda, a volunteer from the RNLI in Blackpool came to speak to 4M about water safety in the sea.
She spoke about the important work the lifeboat crew carry out & how we can be more after aware of the dangers of water.
Creating a class symbol
Today in RE we looked into different symbols and their meanings. 3B were challenged with designing their own logo for the whole class !
2R: Greater Than, Less Than and Equal
2R pupils learnt about using greater than, less than and equal to.
They also learned the symbols which represent them.

Mini Moverz!
1A thoroughly enjoyed their first session as Mini Moverz this afternoon. We danced, moved, popped bubbles, engaged with an parachute and jingled bells.
Design technology
Today with Mr Miller in design technology we started sanding down our designed desk tidy to make it nice and smooth.
PE with mini moverz
We had a very special treat in PE today. Mini Moverz came to our class and did a very exciting PE session. We did lots of dancing,sensory play and had lots of fun with the bubble machine popping all of the bubbles
Guy Fawkes
Today in English we learnt about Guy Fawkes and the meaning behind bonfire night. We then had to answer questions about what we have learnt and acted out.
Number bonds to 10
Everyone did fantastic work today doing their number bonds to 10!
Newton Meters
In Science today we have been using the Newton meters to weigh and measure different items around the science lab. We did a fantastic job at collecting and comparing our results.
Charlie cook’s favourite book!
Miss miller introduced our new class story today in English! Charlie cook’s favourite book, we really enjoyed looking at the colourful pictures and meeting a range of new characters ☺️
Sensory outdoor fun
We were so lucky this morning to be the first class to use our new sensory outdoor garden! The children used their gross motor skills to climb over the obstacles and loved exploring the wide range of new equipment!
