3H’s Arts Award topic is ‘Alpacas as Therapy Animals: Creating Art for Wellbeing’. Today we visited Lowland’s Alpaca Farm to begin our research into what an Alpaca is and how Alpacas, and all of the animals on the farm, can help us regulate our emotions. Pupils talked about how happy and calm it made them feel to hold the small animals and feed Oscar the sheep! The best part of 3H’s trip was being able to walk Alpacas - our teachers were impressed with how sensible we were! 3H will now begin their first piece of art inspired by our trip and how being around the animals made us feel. What an amazing day!
