Welcome to a new school year!
We hope that you have had a relaxing summer break. We are excited to start our journey as Class 4S. Your class teacher is Mrs Swift and support assistants are Mrs Rowe, Miss Orritt and Miss Bennison. Welcome back!

Here is a copy of our class timetable so that you can see what lessons your child will be having each day.
Important information
Pupils will receive homework on a wednesday and is due in by Monday. Please support your child to complete this. PE is timetabled on a Friday. Please make sure they have the correct (fully labelled) kit with them with appropriate footwear on this day each week. Many thanks.
Summer Holiday Band Practice 2023 [3]
Lottie, playing euphonium, and Roman and Mr Strachan playing tubas, added a bit of bass to the tunes. As is customary, the Band spent the last half of the third practice playing Christmas music even though it was still August - we like to be ahead of the game!

Mr Bradford, Nathan, Nathan, Mirabel and Samuel attended all the practices over the holiday to keep themselves 'trumpet ready' for the new Autumn Term. Mr Taylor very kindly volunteered to drum for us so we hope he enjoyed the experience!

Georgia, Louise and Mrs Swift made up the "Sweet Sounding Horns" section of the Band and really made the tunes we played wonderfully textured, so that they both soothed and lifted the spirits! A nice bit of musicology there, Mrs Swift?
