New play equipment
4J got to use the brand new outdoor play equipment today! The play area has been super popular and class 4J the very first to try it out! Well done 4J!!
Scarf- Safety!
Congratulations to our Scarf wearer of the week, Caitlin! Caitlin always shows her friends how to be safe and is always very sensible, well done Caitlin!
Humanities
Today we started are entry level in humanities we started at looking at things that impact the environment for example car pollution, littering and graffiti.
Evolution
We played the Evolution game whereby, each player had to find a partner and play rock, paper, scissors. Then, whoever won rock paper scissors they would go up to the next level which was a different animal. The last person standing would have to shout ‘ super human’!
Drama games
3R were introduced to a new fun drama game. They joined in and there were lots of support and laughs!
Making Rafts in STEM
We’ve had a great start to our year in 4W.
On Thursday we had our first STEM lesson in which we designed and tested rafts!
The winning raft held over 100 marbles.
Reading for Pleasure
3A have ended the week enjoying books in the library. They have chosen a book to take home to read over the weekend.
Achiever of the Week!
This week all of the children in 3T have been awarded 'Achiever of the week'. Well done everyone, you have all settled in to your new class really well.
Making play dough animals!
This half term in science we will be learning all about animals, this week we made our own play dough from scratch and then moulded it into our favourite animals. We can’t wait to learn more about animals this half term!
