5J Home Cooking
This week in 5J we have been practicing our home cooking skills, we practiced peeling, chopping and scooping potatoes, seasoning them and cooking them in the airfryer! They were delicious!

Navigating around school using a map!
Today in Humanities we found our school using Google Maps. We also navigated around school and could remember the names of the different areas too. Well done everyone!
5J STEM
In STEM this week we built paper rockets using paper and paper straws, we designed and made our first rocket, fired it then see if we could improve on the design by adding different things such as paper fins or paper clips.
Some of the rockets went really far! well done 5J!
Vertebrate or Invertebrate
This week 3C have been identifying what animals are vertebrates and which animals are invertebrates.
English
In English, 2W were exploring a characters decision. We made a ‘conscious alley’ in the classroom, one side tried to persuade Alyssa to walk through the forrest whilst the other side tried to persuade her to walk the long way round.
Public services
Today some of year 11 started their public services course at Blackpool and the Fylde college. We have focused on fitness and sport by playing hockey and hockey fun skill games.
