Star of the week
Well done Isaac! You are our star of the week for guiding an adult towards where the bubbles are kept and taking part in an interaction with an adult using a communication board to request for bubbles.
3D shapes
In maths we have been looking at shape every Thursday. Today we looked at 3D shapes and matched different things in our classroom to the correct 3D shape.
5J Home Cooking
We continued to improve our knowledge and skills with using potatoes in our home cooking class.
We made roast potatoes, mashed potatoes and parmentier potatoes.
They were delicious! Well done 5J!
Food Technology
This afternoon in Food Technology, 4H independently made themselves toast and tea or hot chocolate, then sat around the table putting the world to rights !
The 7 Life Processes
Today in science we have been learning about what makes something be alive. If something is alive they must have the 7 life processes.
Therapy dog training
As part of our therapy dogs training, Molly needs to be able to understand & take commands from different people. Here are 4 of our Oracle students putting Molly through her training program.
Enterprise
As part of Enterprise 5B have been taking part in market research exercises. This week we visited a park near to the Oracle and asked members of public what their favourite refreshments were. Our therapy dogs Daisy & Molly came along with us too.
5J Stem
In STEM this week we were set the problem of working out which bottles would be harder to knock over. Ones filled with air, water or rice.
The air ones were the easiest and the water and rice were both harder to knock over.

Pit stop challenge
Today at college we took part in the pit stop challenge. We had to work as a pair and use the tools such as a ratchet and socket safely when changing the tyre. The winner of this challenge was Cody with 11 minutes 29 seconds.

Our DT lesson focused on our health and safety coursework. Along with having an insight of what we cook in our practical lessons.
