Design Technology

Scissor skills
Scissors are still very tricky for a lot of 1H so today we practised by cutting lots of different materials. We enjoyed cutting play doh the most.
Story settings
In English, we are looking at different story settings. We went to the sensory room, to travel to different settings! We went to the farm, a castle, under the sea, a cave, a beach, a forest and into space.

Science
4H have been looking at flammable items. Their experiment today was to squeeze some hand gel onto their special science boards then set it alight. The verdict - hand gel is definitely flammable !
