Fine Motor Skills
This week in STEM we used some sweets and toothpicks to make shapes and build with. We had lots of fun!
Being outdoors is fun - OPAL
In 1B, we love having access to such a fantastic outdoor area with so much provision. The children are learning and developing so many skills which are important for classroom development ⭐️
Oracle Sign Language
At sixth form on Tuesday morning before college we have been learning sign language. This morning we have been learning the signs for hello, good morning good evening and good night as well as continuing to practice the alphabet.
Banana cakes!
3A have been developing their listening skills. We have communication targets that involve following instructions. Today we followed instructions to make banana cake. We decided this would be a good snack to take on a trip to the beach as part of our class book 'At the Beach.'
After School Cooking Club
Frank loves going to Cooking Club on Mondays after school. Today he has made Flapjacks and is now busy washing and drying up independently. Well done Frank !
KS5 Fitness club
Fitness after school club runs every Monday after Sixth Form. A small circuit was set up to ensure our students made the most out of their fitness time.

Comprehension
3S were very impressive working on comprehension today.They watched the story of “The Ugly Sharkling “and then answered some questions.
After school cooking club
Today was dessert day & our Oracle cooking club decided on blueberry & lemon muffins. Each student followed their recipes to collect & weigh out food, wash & put away pots, cleaned down work surfaces all whilst smelling their delicious muffins cook.
