Youth Club Uno Competition
Youth Club held a Uno competition, in was fiercely competive and players were whittled down from 6 to 2 with first and second prizes going to Kyle and Jonathon respectively.
Black History Month
3S have been learning about Ruby Bridges as it is Black History Month.
She was the first African American child to attend a formerly whites only school in Louisiana.
Stop and go in music
In Music, this week, we practised starting and stopping. We took it in turns to be the teacher and tell our friends when to stop and go.
Healthy Eating
4H are learning about healthy food in DT and have been creating their own posters.
Learning through play
We had lots of fun exploring our environments in the provision today, we rolled conkers in our sensory tray, used paint to create pictures and Logan used the IPad design app to create his own masterpiece! Well done 1B amazing work!
Using the climbing frame
In our fitness lesson, we headed outside to use the equipment in our new play area
Music
During our music lesson we have been using our listening skills to listen to a beat and then repeat by clapping and singing. We have been fantastic at concentrating and interpreting each rhythm and song.
The Hobbit
As part of our Arts Award we watched the M&M production of the Hobbit. We really enjoyed the story and the dragon who guarded all the treasure!
