2A’s Christmas cards
2A have made some wonderful Christmas cards in their DT lesson this week using the concertina affect to make a pop up Christmas tree. We love our DT lessons!
Resilience
In our resilience lesson this week we built domino tracks.
This helped to build resilience as they kept falling down before we finished them so we had to keep rebuilding them!

Chromatography in Science
In science we made some baubles using filter paper, felt tips and water to create some beautiful patterns.
Bread Making
Fantastic bread making skills in 3S.The bread smelt and looked delicious.
Making sound sequences
This week, we got to make our own sound sequences on purple ,ash using 5e iPads. We loved all the different instruments we could choose from.
Myerscough Group
The Myerscough group have been spraying the reptile enclosures and preparing food for the snakes and lizards. They worked really hard and even had time for a cuddle with the rats before lunch.
2H Maths, Part Whole Models.
In Maths in 2H, we have been looking at part whole models. We used the cubes to complete them.
Music at Blackpool and the Fylde college.
This week at the college we did a Christmas music quiz. We finished with having another go at the different instruments in the rehearsal rooms.

Glitter time!
Last week we painted our Christmas trees. Today we used glue and glitter to add sparkly garlands to it!
Colourful semantics
3A explored key vocabulary for their new story ‘Twas the night before Christmas.’ They identified nouns as well as verbs before working together to structure sentences.
Practicing on the microphone
We have been practising our lines and songs on the microphone in class, we have gotten used to what our voices will sound like in preparation for the Christmas show.
