Spring Fair Poster
In preparation for tomorrow night's Spring Fair, Kaylum produced this fantastic poster for Mr Hull’s marshmallow toasting in the ForestSchool. Fabulous work well done Kaylum!
Makaton animals
Within French, 2M are enjoying learning the Makaton signs for different animals. They then went on a hunt around school to find them and sign their names.
Measuring
We enjoyed time in the sun, measuring water and using key words ‘full’, Khalsa full’ and ‘empty’. We poured bigger jugs into smaller beakers, careful not to overfill them.
Christianity
Within RE, pupils enjoyed exploring different artefacts from Christianity. They handled the crucifix carefully and passed it around the circle.
Earthquakes
3J have began looking into Earthquakes as part of their Geography topic ‘Natural Hazards’. They looked into what a Ritcher Scale was and why Earthquakes happen
Travel and Tourism - Travel agency
Well done to our Travel and Tourism group who have been making their own travel agency at B&FC by learning how to categorise different types of holidays.
Woodlands School Wednesday April 24th 2024
The Band performed for pupils and staff at Woodlands School and we went down a storm! Everyone clapped and sang along with us which made us very happy. The school is next door to PCA so the whole Band went.... and what a sound we made. Well done to everyone at BOTH schools!
Watercolour Art
Following on from last weeks Art lesson we have been blending watercolours to paint apples.We were very impressed with their work today.

Science
Understanding how the earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits the earth. We are also learning more about the solar system and planets.
Arts Award!
3T have been learning what build, make and sculpt mean. They have taken inspiration from Andy Goldsworthy choosing resources to sculpt something.
Our visit to the church
This afternoon we took a very exciting visit to All Hallows church. We met Vicar Jonny who told us all about the church, we learnt that the Church is a community of people not the building, some songs which the church sing on a Sunday and lots of facts. Our favourite fact was that Christian’s had…
