3A had fun finding halves and quarters of shapes they have been learning!
Our flower walk
We enjoyed going on a flower walk, picking different flowers for our bouquets. We used fine motor skills to thread the stems through the holes. Well done everyone!

Myerscough
At Myerscough sixth form have visited the farm today. They fed the emu's ,goats and alpacas. We also visited animal studies and looked at all the reptiles and small animals.
HSBC visit
We were lucky enough today to be visited by HSBC today who taught us all about how to prioritise our spending. We sorted things into needs and wants and discussed how bank accounts work
Lacrosse
Students undertaking Public Services at Blackpool and The Fylde College experienced a new sport this week, Lacrosse. They learnt how to pass and shoot and how to correctly hold the equipment.
Phonics exploring our new sound ‘I’
In phonics in 1P today we were looking at our new sound ‘I’
The children were looking in our phonics sound tins and looking at some of the objects that began with the sound ‘I’.
We are becoming experts matching the phonics tin objects to our letter sounds.
2G Maths lesson
2G had a visit from HSBC.
They learnt the value of money, had a discussion about their needs and wants and learnt how to save for their “wants”.
