Today we have been learning how to use the carpet cleaner. We discussed about how to use it safely then Mrs Irving demonstrated how to use the machine. The students took it in turns to have a go cleaning the carpet.

Car mechanics - safety checks
This week the Car Mechanics group have been conducting safety checks of vehicles while at B&FC. We have checked the interior and exterior of the cars making notes of all the hazards, including missing bulbs, broken lamps, cracked windscreens and scuffed bodywork.
Humanities bus tour around Blackpool
This morning we got on the mini bus to look around Blackpool attractions and landmarks what we are studying in Humanities.
4B Computing: Laptop Independent Skills
In Computing 4B learnt important independence skills around using laptops including turning on laptops, signing in, and logging onto Sumdog Maths website.
Sharing P.E. Equipment and enjoying the lesson.
Mr Johnson was looking out for 3C sharing equipment, being a good sportsman and enjoying P.E. They certainly did all of these and more! Well done 3C for a fabulous lesson!
1960s & homework challenge
In Humanities we learnt that childhood activities have changed dramatically since 1960s. We compared different daily activities from then & now, & looked at different factors as to why it was so different.
Our homework challenge is to research a man named Harold Wilson & find out a few facts…

Bucket time
We loved our Attention Autism session today! We got up Stage 3 of bucket,enjoying taking turns in ‘Tickle me awake’.
DT- Paper skills
In 2W’s DT lesson today we enjoyed practicing our cutting, folding and rolling skills with pieces of card. We are working on having better control of our scissors and our precision with folding and rolling.
