Making Diva Lamps
This afternoon we have made Diva lamps as part of our learning about Diwali in RE. Once they are dry, we are going to paint them and light tea light.

At college this week we have been learning at pitch,
We then listened to different music and used colours to express how we were feeling.
We finished with having a go at different instruments in the rehearsal rooms.

Pigs in mud - sensory fun
The children loved the sensory tough tray created by Miss Orritt this morning. The mud was made from cocoa powder and the children enjoyed smelling it. They loved covering the animals (and themselves) in mud and then washing them clean.
Cooking at the Oracle
Today yr14 have made lemon drizzle cake with Blackpool Catering Services at The Oracle. They have been grating, beating and then wasging up and drying. The cakes smelled and looked delicious.

Holiday Fun
This morning Lucas told everyone about his wonderful holiday to Edinburgh during half term. He told us all about the animals he had seen in the zoo. It sounded brilliant! He gave out chocolates and a pencil for all his friends in 2G. Thank you.
