Rangoli art!
We have been using our symmetry skills to try and make our own rangoli pattern. The children have been learning about these within RE, within our study of Hinduism.
Music - Away in a Manger
In music, we have started to listen to the song that we will be singing in the Christmas Nativity, ‘Away in a Manger.’ We have listened to it a couple of times so hopefully we will begin to learn some of the lines real soon. Well done everyone for sitting and listening so well.
Launching Rockets
2G are learning about the earth and space in Science and really enjoyed launching Rockets
Rhyming words
In English this term we have been looking into rhyming words ! 3B have enjoyed playing games to help them decipher what words rhyme with each other.
Pairing Rhymes
This morning we have practised grouping our rhyming words which sound the same, we were able to recognise and sort as a team the word correctly. Well done!
Children in Need
We had a great day on Friday for children in need, we enjoyed raising money for children across the country who benefit from the charity
Targeting and Timing
During maths today we have been playing maths games that allow us to practise our targeting and timing skills. This allows us to improve our attention and concentration whilst playing motivating and interesting games.
Water colours
1B have been really creative this morning during Art. We created our very own water colour creation using paintbrushes independenty

Blow your house down bucket challenge!
Continuing our 3 little pig theme, the children had to select a material to build their house and then have a go at using the air pump to “blow the house down”
Phonics - âpâ sound
This week we are looking at the sound ‘p’ in phonics. The children have been identifying, writing and saying the letter sound ‘p’
