Big, bigger, biggest… POP!
Look at the focus and attention of all of the children in 1A during this mornings Attention Autism circle time. Miss Brown blew up some balloons to show big, bigger and biggest and then one by one, she popped them. When they popped, glitter rained down onto all of the children.

Myerscough - 28/11/24
The pupils enjoyed their college visit to Myerscough again today. They were able to hold a corn snake and Tarantula and they also identified what food was suitable for different animals.
Team work and communication
During stem lesson we played team work games. Who knew how competitive 4M could be!
Well done to all, but mostly Ellis, Robbie and Jenson who worked extremely hard balancing their weight on a small area.
Fine Motor Skills
This afternoon 3H are enjoying using their fine motor skills to create animals using play dough
Phonics - ‘g’
This week, we have been focusing on the letter sound ‘g’. We have watched and listened to a range of songs which include the ‘g’ sound. The children have been identifying lots of objects and animals that begin with the ‘g’ sound. Look at our fantastic letter writing - we are getting so much better…
What a week!

Patterns!
In art, we have been learning all about patterns! We enjoyed using different shaped blocks to print with paint. We had lots of fun making our own pattern independently!
Festival of Dance
Last night a few amazing KS5 pupils represented PCA at the Winter Gardens. They took to the stage for the Festival of Dance and did a lovely medieval themed dance to a Bridgerton themed version of Madonna’s Material Girl. The audience sang along as the dancers on stage had a fabulous time!

Social interaction & Communication
Today 3H enjoyed a visit from their friends in 3J. It was lovely to watch pupils building their social relationships and skills. Pupils enjoyed role-play activities, Lego Therapy and working on their turn-taking and sharing skills. We were very impressed listening to pupils having turn-taking…
