2R meet Santa!

Ho Ho Ho! Santa has come to Park Community Academy to meet with all the students. 2R have been amazing so Santa has given them an early present! After 2R’s visit with Santa, we queued up for some hot chocolate and delicious cake.

Enterprise Day

2R’s Dazzling Decorations were a big hit at the enterprise fair! Super work 2R! As a class we worked together to make our baubles and raise money by selling them to our family and friends.

Our Gruffalo Clubhouse adventure

This morning 2R went to the Gruffalo Clubhouse and had a fantastic time. We played in the snail and whale ball pool and slid down the forest slides. We even met the Gruffalo too

Forest school adventures

This morning 2R spent some time creating a habitat for Robin Hood, our reading corner friend, in Forest School. They made some amazing shelters, which were covered and very comfortable. Well done 2R

Felting with sheep’s wool

This week 2R revisited their trip to Cobble Hey Farm by looking at some sheep’s wool and then making a piece of wet felt art using coloured merino wool. 2R designed their piece then agitated the wool, using warm water and soap, so it bonded and became a fused piece of fabric. The results were…
